Web Prophets Staff Appreciation Day

Every year, Web Prophets has a Staff Appreciation activity which includes partners and kids. This year we had a day trip to Fowles Wine in Avenel in the Strathbogie Ranges. The day started off in the mini bus taking us 1.5 hours out of Melbourne. We arrived at Fowles Wine to a delicious morning tea and coffee and then jumped back on the bus for a tour of Fowles vineyard's and production factory.  Our host Ian, certainly is passionate about his wine and local produce! The tour was quite fascinating and even included some baby piglets and Ned Kelly history as the Kelly family spent a lot of time in the region.

We learnt about the process of making wine from start to finish as well as the Fowles family history. After the tour we headed back to Fowles Cellar Door for a scrumptious lunch made from locally sourced  ingredients. And then back on the bus back where a few of us had a little snooze on the way back to Melbourne...
